Recent Reviews

Today we welcomed the Connecting Communities team who organised the International Food Fair in June. The event raised over £13,000 for their chosen charities and we were lucky enough to not only attend and be able to sample some of the wonderful cuisines, but also receive a generous donation of £2,500 which will go towards our Dementia Appeal.
Thank you so much, this will make a huge difference to the first stage of the appeal. To find out more about how we’ll use the first stage of fundraising click here: https://www.brighterfuturesgwh.nhs.uk/…/dementia-appeal/
Last week we took delivery of 170 winter provision bags, which we’ll be distributing with our regular food parcels. Generously donated by the Al-Imdaad Foundation UK, and coordinated by Connecting Communities and the the local Mosque, Jamia Masjid Swindon.
The past year has been so challenging for everyone and we are continually bowled over by what people can achieve together.

Wow, what a day! We all really enjoyed the day and I cannot believe how friendly, welcoming and just down right lovely everyone was.

Thank you so much for inviting us, it was a lovely day chatting to the community and the committee who organised the event were so great, please thank them all for looking after us so well. I’d also like to say that the food on offer this past weekend was sublime. I was so excited to try some food from different cultures and it did not disappoint!

Whoever made the Hungarian Poppy Seed roll….. oooo that was so good!
